- Even if you've never made a formal style guide or design system, your company probably has some set of rules they use for creating the user experience for your products, in fact, it's quite possible that you have several different sets of rules. The conflict between those rules is what leads to inconsistent interfaces, unclear branding, and off-message content. It also wastes development time and creates arguments on product teams. Hi, I'm Chris Nodder. In this LinkedIn Learning course, I'll show you how to build a style guide and design system that communicate your branding and design decisions in a unified way that staff, contractors, agencies and external developers can all understand and use.
Along the way, I will also point out how these documents can save everyone time and effort. Creating a useful style guide and design system is an ongoing, evolving process, and the benefits of getting even the bare bones described in a central document are massive. So join me to learn how to get started.
