- [Instructor] Responsive web design is a web design method that enables the web to fit screens of different devices automatically. It's going to display the content in a way that people feel comfortable with. This greatly reduces users' operations like panning, zooming, scrolling, and browsing the web. Mobile first on the other hand is a design strategy. While it may use a mobile-responsive framework, it considers mobile users' needs first and foremost. Instead of creating a desktop website, and then forcing it to fit in a small mobile box, you create a website that considers the majority of the users, those on mobile, first. Creating a compelling layout is just one aspect of designing the user experience. The more challenging part comes when you add interactivity to your design.
