- [Instructor] As research becomes more ubiquitous, there are more and more options to recruit participants. Recruiting for remote studies can use a lot of the same resources as in-person recruiting. The key difference when you recruit participants for remote sessions is mostly in how you communicate, set expectations, and send directions and incentives. Identifying and recruiting appropriate participants is covered in more depth in my Research Fundamentals course, but let's revisit the key ways that you can typically recruit participants. Existing user reach out, live intercept, tool panels, or professional panels. If you are planning to rely on recruiting existing users, you can still use whatever channels you already use to recruit participants to remote studies.
