Journey map preparation

- Journey maps are flexible tools used to help visualize users' paths, and their associated needs and opportunities along the way. They're also used to build shared understanding across team members of those journeys and potential next steps. Because journey maps are supposed to represent a holistic view of all users' actions to achieve a specific goal or perform a specific task, it's important to have input from cross-functional team members. While it's probably up to the UX team members to conduct research and lead the way on visuals, make sure to include stakeholders from across departments and teams, to share their existing knowledge, lend their thoughts on scope and goals, and stay in the loop as you learn new things about your users and their context.
