Hooking customers with hooks

- Have you ever ready the same sentence over and over again before you realized that you were so bored while you were reading it you didn't actually absorb any of the content? How's that for a hook? A hook is some compelling nugget of content that draws a reader more deeply into what you're saying. Hooks generally feature some type of connection with a reader. In my example I made a connection with you by asking have you ever done this? Memes and cartoons are one big hook. You want to read to the end because you know that there's something funny that's coming. How should you think about hooking your readers? Some common types of hooks other than the ones I've mentioned include the fear of missing out or FOMO. Read on or else you'll miss this amazing nugget of information. Humor is always inspiring.
