Developing basic HTML skills

- [Instructor] If you've been working on the web for a little while, and you enjoy it, one of the best ways to expand your skills is to learn a little HTML. HTML, the Hypertext Markup Language, is the heart of the web. It's the code you see when you copy an embed code from YouTube or a code to embed a tweet or a Facebook post. HTML is designed to identify all of the important elements on your page, paragraphs, lists, headings, articles, headers, footers, tables, forms, and so much more. Of all of the languages used on the web, HTML is one of the easiest to learn. And web pages simply don't exist without it. A quick way to get started is to look at my course, Practical HTML for Marketing Projects. In this course, I don't assume that you know anything about HTML coming in. I'll start you from the very beginning, and we'll learn to write some HTML together. What other skills would you like to learn to further your web knowledge? Share your list in our LinkedIn group.
