- [Instructor] Though most micro-interactions occur in what I call flat land, we really only play in two dimensions. We got X and Y. But there are techniques you can use to break out of flat land and move into 3D for micro-interactions. And that's exactly what we're going to do in this exercise. So to get yourself started, open the UI3D file found in your chapter download. So here's the plan. When the UI moves down, the nav layer at the bottom, that's this little layer right here, folds in, thus we really only have to concentrate on the UI and the nav layers. Now, I've already done the motion for you with the UI and the nav layer, so if I press the UI layer and press the U key, you can see I've got the keyframes in place, and the whole thing moves down. And I'm doing that by parenting the position property of the nav to the position property of the UI. So let's now put this in 3D. I'm going to twirl up the nav layer.
