All of those will work just fine. The reason I'm using Aptana Studio 3 is because it has a built-in local web server and, some of the examples will need a web server in order to serve up the JSON data. Now, you can use whatever web server you have on your system, or whatever remote web server you use for development, but I'm going to use Aptana Studio 3 because it's convenient and, it's got a local server that makes things really easy, so if you want to use it, and you're not familiar with it, you might want to watch up and running with Aptana Studio 3.
