- Alright, so what does efficient collaboration look like?…Consider the principle,…"If you want to go fast, go alone.…"If you want to go far, go together."…There's stuff that you're of course…going to want to do alone, or with your creative team:…Writing, sketching, working in Photoshop, coding,…all of these things are tasks that you're gonna wanna do…without clients watching over your shoulder,…so build that into your process.…Collaboration doesn't mean you have to do…every single thing together.…What collaboration does mean,…is that you check in with your team,…and I mean all the stakeholders,…or at least your primary client contact,…whenever an important decision needs to be made.…
It also means that you give them time…to make considered decisions.…You shouldn't just show an idea once in a meeting,…and ask them to approve it on the spot.…Spot decisions might be okay…for choosing apples at the farmers' market,…but not so good deciding which pricey refrigerator…is right for your kitchen, for example.…You need time to take measurements,…
