- To create workflows with Node.js, you'll need to learn a few things about a special Node.js application called the Node Package Manager, or NPM for short. The Node Package Manager is a set of command line tools, or CLI's, that keep track of small software applications called packages. They're also called modules. Now, the modules or packages are just folders full of reusable code that can add extra functionality to your application. The idea here is that instead of building one huge application, you can create smaller pieces or modules that when assembled together, create a larger project.
