- [Carrie] When it comes to finding help on the web, Google is your best friend, seriously. Certainly there are other search engines that you can use, but I prefer Google and its subsidiary company YouTube because they dominate the market. They handle over 90% of all search queries online. That means that your best chance of connecting your question with an answer will probably come through Google or YouTube. I'm gonna focus on Google in this lesson and ignore YouTube a little bit for this reason. YouTube is awesome if you need to see how to do something, like take the doors off your Jeep or apply a drop shadow to an image in Photoshop. You'll find plenty of tech-related videos and how-tos, but I personally hate waiting through six minutes of video just to find 20 seconds of useful information. Can you find help via YouTube? Absolutely, it's just not the ideal place to troubleshoot your web development woes in my experience. So, back to Google. No doubt you're familiar with the basics…
