- If you're a premium member of the Lynda.com online training library you have access to the exercise files used throughout this course. Exercise files for this course are arranged by chapter and they're located in folders that are named based on the movie numbers they represent. Since each exercise is self contained you'll want to work with these folders individually. I recommend copying the entire exercise files directory to the desktop and then working on the files from the appropriate folder. I'll call out the location of the exercise files for each movie and you should see a brief overlay that will also tell you where to find those files.
For this course it doesn't matter which author and tool you use, I'll be using brackets which is a free open source cross platform editor but if your comfortable with another existing HTML editor simply continue using that one for this course.
In this course, senior staff author James Williamson shows how to use flex containers, flex child items, and responsive design techniques to create responsive layouts for two forms: a short search form and a longer registration form with sections. He demonstrates how to style the form structures, fields, labels, and buttons; control the alignment of different elements; and enhance the responsiveness of both forms with media queries.
