- We've arrived at the last of the five things that clients want to see in your portfolio. And it's a big one: Range. As in show me the full range of what you're capable of. Show me that you're flexible, creative, and adaptable to different kinds of projects, styles and brands. The bottom line here for your prospects is, convince me that my site is going to look different from all the other sites in your portfolio. We're back to that special snowflake thing. Every client believes they're unique, and that their project requires a custom-tailored approach. So they want to see some evidence of variety in your portfolio. Just enough to suggest that you know how to start fresh with every project. And once again, it's important to think about this through the lens of a prospective client. Because while you might feel that you can show a broad range of styles with just a few projects, your prospect might see a sameness to them that you're not seeing. Maybe they all have dark color palettes…
