Paying attention to the little details

- While this isn't a technical how-to course, I want to touch on another potential mistake that you can make in your portfolio which is not sweating the details. I want you to "sweat the details." The details say a lot about how much you care about your clients and colleagues experience in working with you, and when it comes to landing a job you should care a lot about making that experience a positive one. Here are a few of the details I'm talking about. If you're applying for more than one job consider creating a customized portfolio for each position. It doesn't need to be completely unique, but even a little customization can go a long way. You might locate it at its own subdomain on your website or a hidden URL that's named after the company you're applying to. Tailor the copy to the specific position you're applying for.
