Optimizing images further

- [Voiceover] Another area to think about when you're designing for performance is optimizing images. It seems crazy, but when we create images from, let's say, Photoshop, Illustrator, whatever program you're using, I'd say about half the time, the web images that we create, myself included, can be further optimized without loss of perceived quality. And what does that mean? That means we can compress them further or do what we can do to them and they still look really good. That's especially true with retina images if you deal with retina. Some ways to actually compress your images, let me show you a few here. Now, just to give you an idea, I went over to Photoshop CC 2015. Illustrator allows you to export as well. But if I come under File, and come to Export, you're gonna see that we can Export as PNG this way or Export As.
