Activating the plugin: Design the Web: Creating a Sortable Table

The first thing we’ll do here is use jQuery’s document ready so that we can write some instructions that will fire once the browser has loaded all the HTML. With one line of code, we can activate the plug-in and create a sortable table. Then we’ll look at date option formats and custom labels using an HTML5 data attribute to display information that is user friendly.
