- Each chapter in this course has an associated exercise file. After we've been through the reasoning behind each chapter, I'll give you a chance to practice applying those concepts to a piece of text. Then, I'll demonstrate one particular solution. If you're the kind of person who hates doing the interactive parts of online courses, you can just skip past the exercise, but it's probably still worth while watching the subsequent demonstration because it provides an example of the concept in action. There's a lot of subjectivity in writing and editing, so I'm not going to claim that my solutions to the exercises are the absolute only one way of doing things. However, by doing a demonstration of my solution to each exercise and by taking you through the edits that I make to each piece of text, you'll be able to understand my reasoning for making the changes I did.
