Challenge: Creating signposts

(pulse tone) - It's time for another exercise. Find the exercise file called Chapter 3 - Signposts. In it you'll see that there are two pieces of text. Each is a short article. In this exercise, I'd like you to rewrite the text in the headline, body and link text for these two articles. Make sure that the headline and link texts provide good signposts telling people what's in the article or what they'll get if they click. Also, make sure that the body text has a good indication of what's in it for the reader, to keep their interest and encourage them to act. The articles are both very short. So it should just take you around 5 minutes to perform the rewrite. When you're done, you'll have a chance to compare your edits to the changes I've made to the text.
