Join Chris Converse for an in-depth discussion in this video About the exercise files, part of Creating a Photo Gallery in WordPress with jQuery.
For this course there are two sets of exercise files. If you're a premium subscriber to the Lynda.com online training library, you'll have access to all three of these folders. If you're not a premium subscriber, you'll have access to folders two and three. Inside of folder one, is just a series of photographs. If you don't have any photos to load into the gallery, you can use photographs from this particular folder. Inside of folder two is a series of files that we're going to be adding to our theme. Some of these files are blank, but they do offer the proper structure and the file naming that we're going to be using to create our custom gallery.
And inside of folder three is a series of snippets. In some cases, we're going to add some of these snippets into some of these custom files. So now that we're familiar with the Exercise Files, next I'm going to talk about some basic assumptions that I have about your WordPress site, and then we'll get started with the project.
