Transitioning building blocks to a more established drawing

- [Voiceover] It would be unusual to visit a city with such symmetry to the buildings. Let's create some variations using our building blocks as a guide. Chances are that the roof lines will differ and the heights of the buildings may vary too. Let's start to improvise and see what we can do to make this more organic. So right now our roof line of our building block is very straight, but let's say we wanted more of an A frame. We could start to sketch in very loosely, I like to start my sketches loosely at first, define the curve of the roof. And notice that this side of the roof is gonna come down on a diagonal, still diminishing back to that vanishing point. We might even play with placing a chimney. And this structure that we've given ourselves, this underlying structure is a fabulous base for elaborating more organic, more personal detail.
