Rendering a preview

- [Voiceover] Now that we have some animation, let's render a preview. And we can scrub through that preview directly in the timeline. It'll be a lot faster than rendering a full animation, and it'll be a lot rougher, but it will give us an idea of what our shot will look like. And down here on the timeline, we've got the Generate Preview button. Right-click on that button to access the preview options. And all I want to do is set the frame rate to 3 frames per second instead of 5. Click OK. Then render the preview simply by clicking on the Film Roll icon. Depending upon the complexity of your scene, it may take quite a while to render the preview. This one took a couple of minutes. Once it's finished, it starts playing automatically. And we can stop the timeline in order to stop the playback. And in order to see this a little bit better, I can expand the timeline up a bit and minimize the Main Camera view. Make that smaller. And we want to focus our attention on the lower left corner…
