Adding wind to plants
- [Voiceover] Let's have some fun adding wind to the plants and clouds. First, for the plants, select them in the World Browser. Maximize the top view, and get in closer. You will see a blue triangle. And that's the wind manipulator or gizmo. As you hover your mouse over that, the cursor will change. And you want to see a cross for your cursor. And at the same time you'll see at the lower left corner of the interface, down here, Intensity and Direction. Click and hold on that blue triangle, and drag to set the intensity and direction. This tool is imprecise, and you'll not be able to get those values exactly, but intensity of about 15 and direction of about 60. Release the mouse and check the results in the camera view. We can see that those trees are bent over in the wind. If we play the animation, we'll see the camera dolly forward as usual. But when the camera settles down, we don't see any motion on those plants. We need to do an animation preview to see that motion. To speed that…
