- [Narrator] Let's go ahead and talk about the layout of Visual Studio Code. Now at the very top of the screen, if we move our cursor to the very top, we'll see our menu bar. Make sure you have focus on Visual Studio Code, otherwise, if you have focus on another application, you'll be seeing a different menu bar. And here of course, you'll see all the different menu options that you have, what I really like is that we have all the shortcuts right next to most of the important commands. So moving on over to the left hand side, what we have is our view bar. So that is this area right here where we see five different icons. The first is our explorer icons, and that is going to be used whenever we need to show a file. As a matter of fact, let me go ahead and open up a recent file that I had open. And so whenever we have focus on the explorer icon, you can see all the different files that we're going to be working with. Right below is our search icon, and as the name implies, it lets us do…
