Use the contact list to start a Live Share session
- [Instructor] Another convenient way of starting a Live Share session is to use your contacts list. Now you can see in Visual Studio I've got two contacts shown in my Live Share tab. These are people I've collaborated with in the past, Ray and Terry. On Terry's computer I'll have to go back and open the live share pane and I can see she has one contact here. So the way this works is I can go to my copy of Visual Studio, right click on her name, and choose to invite her by email. But what we want to look at in this video is how to invite her by contact. Click on that. It starts a live share. You can see that I get the same message that you've seen before. The URL's been copied to my clipboard and over on Terry's computer we can see at the bottom of the screen there's a pop up that says Walt Richard invited you to join a collaboration session.
