Sometimes you need to set aside your current work and checkout a changeset from the server. The current state of your work in progress might not be ready to check-in to the main source tree. But you don’t want to throw out the last three hours of work either. That’s where Shelvesets are useful. This tutorial shows how to put pending changes in a Shelfset, then work on another version of the application code.
