- [Instructor] It will be helpful to understand the two categories of tabs that are available in Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code because this becomes important when you're following along with other people in a Live Share session. Right now I have a solution open in Visual Studio that has two projects. And you'll notice as I'm moving through Solution Explorer and selecting the files nothing is appearing in the edit area until I double click on a file. Every time I double click on a file it adds a tab to the left side of the screen. I'll call these permanent tabs for this demo. And of course I can close these by clicking on the X. There's also the concept of a preview tab. I believe it's on by default in Visual Studio. Currently on my copy of Visual Studio it is turned off. To enabled it I go to the top of Solution Explorer and click on this button. And now you see when I select an item it's loaded into this…
