- [Instructor] Installing Visual Studio Code is fairly straightforward. All you need to do is go to this site here, and you should have the option to download for the appropriate operating system. And for me, since I'm on a Mac, I will click this green button here. And once I download it, I'll go ahead and double click to open up the ZIP file. And now, I can drag Visual Studio Code to my Applications folder. Now, I already have it installed, so I'm going to go ahead and click on Replace. I'll put in my necessary password. And once that's done, I can launch it. I'll scroll down, and there it is at the bottom. And I'll go ahead and double click. Now, should you get prompted, because we just downloaded this from the internet, just go ahead and click Open. By default, it opened up the browser, but I'll go ahead and minimize it. And here we are, ready to use Visual Studio Code.
