Connect to the session and start a call

- [Instructor] I'm waiting for Ray to start his live session. While I'm in Visual Studio, I can see that in the contact list, his status now has a check mark next to it. And that means that he's online and he's logged in to Visual Studio code. And now, he's going to reach out to me by starting a session and I should see a notification appear in my copy of Visual Studio. I'll go here and look at my Notification section. There it is. So it says, "Ray has invited you to join this collaboration session." I'll click on Accept. Looks like we're successful. This terminal window pops up. So I'm going to minimize that. And then you can tell already that we're getting some code stream to my computer. I can see some JavaScript here, then the script GS file. We'll look at that in a minute. I want you to hear Ray, so I'm going to go over to the Live Share tab and one of the features they add recently in live share is the ability to make audio calls. So I will call into the server by clicking here and clicking on this phone icon. It says, "Start audio call" and Ray needs to do the same thing on his end. There he is. I think it's probably a good time to point out that you can... If you can't hear the person, there's a way to go up here in the audio call options and choose this Audio Call Settings. And then you can choose your output and input device. What are you having, Ray? - [Ray] Yeah, the microphone that I'm using wasn't showing. I've got a lot of different mics connected to my machine, so it was just the wrong microphone. - [Instructor] Okay, well, now we're connected. And we'll use the audio call for the rest of the videos in this chapter. So what I want to look at in this chapter Ray is, you said that you wanted to show me some code in this web app you're creating, I think it had to do something with animation code. Is that right? - [Ray] Yeah, I have a little tweened animation that I think could use a little bit of spiciness to it or some help. I think you could really help me figure out what to do here. - [Instructor] Okay, so let's stop the video here and in the next video, we can look at your source code. Does that sound good? - [Ray] Yeah, yeah, sounds great. - [Instructor] All right.
