- In this chapter we're going to focus on some of the visual aids to help you create your drawings with precision, and to help you line things up, snap things into position. We're talking about some of the visual aids you'll find from the View tab off the ribbon, give it a click now, and go to the Show group to see things that are turned on with check marks, and others that might be turned off with no check marks. And one of the visual aids that's going to help you with alignment is the Ruler. The Ruler that you see across the top and down the left hand side. Now when we click the check box next to Ruler, we turn it off, gives us a little extra real estate for our drawing, but when we turn it back on, it can be very useful in helping us to line things up perfectly, like our title for example. Let's click the Order Processing title. Now when you see the handles around the outside, go inside with the four-sided arrow, and as you click and drag it, check out the ruler at the top. You're…
