Save diagrams to JPG or GIF files

- When you want to share your diagram with others, and you want it in a read-only format, another option is to save it to one of the graphics formats available here in Visio 2016. Not only does that make it easy to share, attaching to an email for example, but you can use that image that you create of your drawing in other files, like a Word document, or pop it into a slide in PowerPoint. So to save our diagram as a graphical image, we simple go to the File tab and go down to Save As. We're going to choose a location by clicking Browse, and let's put it right on the desktop where it's going to be easy to find. If we want to now, we can change the name. I'm going to keep it, though, FlowChart0601. But we do want to change the Save as type from Visio Drawing to one of those options for saving to a graphical image. Click the dropdown, you'll see a number of them, mostly down near the bottom. For example, some of the more popular ones, Graphics Interchange Format, or GIF, sometimes…
