Refine custom report definitions
- The Visio Report Wizard makes it easy to create custom reports, but sometimes you'll want to refine the report definition after you've created it. In this video, we'll make two changes to an existing custom report. We'll expand the report definition to include shapes on all pages in a diagram instead of just the current page, and we'll refine the shape selection criteria to eliminate extraneous shapes. In this Human Resources recruiting flow chart, the first page contains a sub-process that represents the hiring steps once a candidate has accepted a job. By holding down the control key and clicking on the shape, we go to the page that includes the definition of the sub-process. Let's run the report in its current form, so we can identify what changes we want to make. On the review tab, click shape reports. This is the process owner report. Run.
