- [Instructor] After you've applied best practices and created a great process diagram, you'll want to share it with your colleagues, and in many cases, with people outside your organization. However, before you do that, I have one more suggestion. Make sure your process map looks appropriate for your audience. You'll want to take advantage of the design tab in Visio or similar features in other software. Perhaps you want to change the look of the arrows that link shapes together. The connectors button on the design tab lets you select curved or straight connectors, or return to the default right-angled connectors. The design tab also includes a gallery of themes that make it easy to give your flow chart a consistent look from first page to last.
