Manage layer settings
- Well now that we know how to create new layers in a drawing and assign different types of objects to those different layers, it's time to see the benefits of using layers. And we're going to start by reviewing the current layers by clicking the Layers drop down and clicking Layer Properties. We have four different layers, we have our connector layer with four objects decision shapes has one, process shapes has three, and you can see the start and end shapes layer has nothing. We created this new layer by renaming the flowchart layer that was there, it appeared by default when we started dragging smart shapes out onto our page. I want you to keep that in mind as we click OK, close this up and continue building out our diagram. We'll just scroll down so we can see the bottom half of our page, and we'll go to the decision shape here for score greater than 75 percent, when you see the arrows pop up go to the lower arrow, that shows us our top four shapes, and we're going to add another…
