- Well now that we have a good understanding of the basics here in Visio 2016, and we have been working with flow charts so far, it's time to start exploring some of the other types of diagrams we can create, so this chapter will be dedicated to working with organization charts. So you can close up anything you might have open, like I have, your left with this blank screen, and we're going to create a new diagram, but this time we're going to choose a different type. Let's go up to "File" and with "New" selected, you'll notice that featured templates is currently showing a number of different options, including an organization chart, but if you don't see that, no problem, you can always go to "Categories," because it's the "Business" category that we select to find "Organization Chart." There is a wizard as well, we'll talk about that later, but "Organization Chart" is the one we want, give it a click, all that does is prompts us to choose our units of measure, let's leave it at US…
