Customize topic shape design
- Up until now, our brainstorming diagram has received the default formatting as we built it. And you can see in the center, our main topic uses an oval with a gradient shading. Looks like there's no line around the outside. And then our subtopics and the subtopics under them all look the same. They're lines with a label on top. Well we can change the look and feel of our diagram ourselves by first selecting the topics we want to change. Let's go to the lowest level subtopics and we'll hold down the Shift key to select them all for each of the subtopics coming out of the main topic. Here we go. It's going to be nine of them all together and once they're all selected any changes we make now will only affect those selected shapes. So we'll go up to the Brainstorming tab. Make sure it's selected and click Change Topic over here in the Arrange group. When you click it, this little window opens up with a number of different shapes to choose from.
