- Well, it's time to move on to another type of diagram you can create here in Visio 2016, the calendar. There are different types of calendars you can create and there are a number of different items that can be added to a calendar. We're going to explore them in this chapter. Let's start though, by closing up everything you might be working on. You can see I'm left with a blank screen here. You should have the same before we go up to File. And with New selected, go to Categories, click there. Next we're going to go to Schedule like we did for the timeline in the previous chapter. That's the category where we find the Calendar tile. Give that a click. We'll keep US units and click Create. And we arrive at our blank page, ready to start adding things. And the first thing we need to add is the calendar itself. Once we have the calendar added to our page, we can start adding other things like appointments and events and a number of other icons. So let's go over to the Calendar Shapes…
