Add dimensions
- When working with floor plans, it's often very helpful to be able to view the dimensions of the entire floor, the various rooms, even articles that appear inside those rooms. So we're going to talk about adding dimensions now to our drawing. Let's say we want to know what the dimensions are going vertically and horizontally representing the height and width of our entire floor. Well, all we have to do is find the proper tool and add it to our drawing. And we find it over here in our shapes pane by selecting Dimensioning - Architectural. From here you'll see things like baselines, horizontal and vertical lines. Also for the outside, you can see some even ones and uneven ones as well as diameters and so on. All kinds of dimensioning tools here that can be used and added to our drawing. So, if we do want to know what the exact height of this rectangle is, our room in this case, we can add one of the vertical options, like this one here titled Vertical.
