Modifying network settings
- [Instructor] Lets take a look at how to switch between the various network modes in VirtualBox. There's two places where we can change network settings. There's a set of options in each guests preferences and there's a global setting for VirtualBox itself. Lets take a look at the guest settings first. Some of these settings we can change while the guest is booted, but I'll shutdown the guest here for now. In the settings for the machine in the network section, we can configure the network adapter. Each guest can have more than one adapter configured differently, if that's something you need to do but we'll just focus on one adapter here. I can check to enable or disable the network adapter and choose what network it's attached to. NAT, as we saw earlier, is the default, putting the guest into its own private NAT network.
