On-screen controls
- [Instructor] Two user interface notes that I think are just really important. The first, again, is this drop down box that lets me choose between the different types of on screen controls. I'm going to go ahead and just turn off the transform controls. The path still shows up. I need to actually click on it to turn it off. This is great if you're trying to see what something is doing without all that visual interference. The other one is less obvious. I'm going to do a shift z so I can see my whole timeline. Under the timeline menu, there's a choice here, the call, Selection Follows Playhead. As I move my playhead from clip to clip, using the up and down or dragging, you can see Resolve is automatically selecting that clip. This is fantastic. It means, when you go ahead and you're positioned above this clip, Resolve is automatically displaying its controls. This will just save you a lot of hassle, especially when you're doing a lot with Effects. This isn't important at all for…
