- Rich and I have talked a lot about some great software tools for team collaboration. But we both feel very strongly about the need for real time meetings in person. And I'll tell you why, because even Skype doesn't necessarily give you the flavor for what people are feeling about and thinking about and the kind of body language they give you when you have a real key team member face-to-face meeting. So if that's possible to do, it's always the best way, at least for your kickoff. One thing that is really nice about doing a face-to-face is if you're in the client's offices, you're going to meet additional team members, people that they rely on, people who might be weighing in on your rough cut or fine cut, and you wouldn't hear them necessarily on a phone call or another kind of conference call situation.
