- I'm excited to share with you an interview with Noel Silver, a nationally recognized expert in AI. Currently she heads up Hacker U where she works to ensure successful placement of students into careers in the tech industry. She's also founder of AI Institute, Women in AI, and has held executive technology positions at NPR, Microsoft, Amazon, and more. Let's cut to the interview. Noel, you've done so much with different types of AI. Can you give us a sense of the different types of synthetic speech technology that you've worked with? - So it's interesting because one major type is speech synthesis. It's sometimes known as a voice font, right? Our ability to ingest a bunch of audio and replicate a sound that we know. So for example, I had built a bot where I wanted to replicate J. Edgar Hoover. And J. Edgar Hoover was a known person, we know what he sounds like and so I was able to get a bunch of his audio, ingest it…
