What is a control cycle?

- One way to keep a project on track is a control cycle. It's a formalized document that tries to look for similarities that often pop up. This is a bit of a hybrid, so while every project may be different, there are certain steps that often repeat. And when done correctly, this allows you to have a nice clear vision of what's to come, while still maintaining creativity. Here's a sample of one for photography. For example, it might involve identifying the objectives for the photography project, then securing the location for the photo shoot, and identify any equipment needs, as well as if there's any extra crew or support, such as make-up artist or stylist. You then capture the images, make a backup of that data on-site and then an additional backup with 3-2-1, where you take advantage of an off-site or cloud-based backup.
