- One of the biggest questions that you might have right now is how much should I expect to be paid? And you're right in asking this question. As we all know, you need money to pay for things like food, gas, bills, and having fun. So what can you expect? One thing to remember is that this is an entry level job. You won't be paid like the director, producer, or DP. Take this opportunity to learn about production and where you fit in. How much you'll be paid also depends on your geographic area. Large metropolises, like L.A. and New York, have a lot of PAs that are already there.
