Using a standing desk or walking desk
- Hey there, I'm Robbie Carman. - And I'm Rich Harrington. - And, Rich, this week we're gonna be talking about ergonomics and kind of setting up a healthy work environment because, after all, we spend a lot of time at the old desk, right? - Yeah. - And there's lots of things on our bodies that can start hurting after a long time of working at a desk. And I think it's really important to cover some of these issues. They're coming more to the forefront. People are discussing them more. But the fact is, not everybody has a good office environment and we want to talk about a few ways to kind of improve kind of the comfort and safety of your office. - Well, one of the first things that I would suggest is consider, if you can get one, an adjustable height desk. So this desk we're using here, Rob, actually has an up and down button. I can lower it if we were sitting. Right now we're on stools.
