Using Content-Aware Scale
- Sometimes when you're working with an image, its shape might not be correct. Sure, the canvas size could be there, but maybe it's just not quite fitting the shape you need for video. In this image here, you see that we have some black bars on the side of the photo. While we could scale the image up, notice that as we do so to fill the frame, we're really chopping into his face a bit too tightly. And I don't like that. So I'll choose escape. Instead of a regular transform, there is a specialty command here called Edit, Content-Aware Scale. This gives you a couple of choices. If you look at the Options bar, there is an option here to make it person-aware. So now it's going to recognize skin tones, and as I scale, I can start to transform the image. Now, my suggestion here, when you do this is choose Edit, Content-Aware Scale, and then unconstrain it by unlinking that box there, and make sure Person-Aware is checked.…
