- [Instructor] If you need to blow up the footage from SD to HD, or maybe even to 4K, you've got couple of options to choose from here inside After Effects. So I'm working here inside this composition, which is part of a full commercial about a pastry franchise in Israel called Roladin. And I have this request from the director to scale up this footage, so the first part of the clip will have some room for the title particles animation that comes from above. Now without relying on a third-party plug-ins, we have couple of options to do this inside After Effects. I'm going to start by the most straight forward approach, which is to select the layer, press S, and start to scale it so it will fit the screen. So I'm going to stop at 170%. And I'm also going to zoom into the frame, at least a couple of clicks, so we will be at full resolution, 100%. This way we can see that we are indeed upraising the file, but we also upraising a lot of noise and color for grain, which is not so…
