- There's an old saying that the best type of writing is rewriting. This just means that you don't arrive at greatness the first time you put pen to paper, and it's only by trying different things and making tweaks that you're really able to make something shine. Much the same is true for video editing. Certainly, building the foundation of video is hard work, but it's only through refining and trimming the edit that you begin to really breathe life into your video to make it its best.
