- You may find yourself on a shoot where someone you look up to or a celebrity is on set with you. When working a really cool project, you'll probably want to share about it with others, right? It's not a good idea to share, especially to social media. Don't immediately post. Social media is a great place to share life, but you need to have permission to share content that's not yours. And you could be under an NDA. So, what is an NDA? It is a nondisclosure agreement. This is when you can't say until a certain time what shoot you're on, where you were, the subject matter of your shoot, and anything other details. We work with clients that have sensitive subject matter that we need an NDA for. I know there are so many cool things that we've done, but we can't say anything about it until the client states so. I know it's not fun, but it's better to keep a good relationship with your clients. Stay positive. Didn't enjoy a gig? Keep it to yourself. This could burn bridges and also walls talk. That whole six degrees of separation thing is real and what you say can and will get back to your clients.
