You know that if you could just have the chance to tell your story, to share your voice and let your personality shine, you could make the strongest possible first impression. Enter the video resume. - My name's Roberto Russo. - A video resume is a short video that a job seeker creates for a prospective employer to review. In a sense, you can think of the video resume as a CV, a cover letter, and a remote interview all rolled into one, as it truly does serve as the first impression that you give your prospective employer. And you are likely very aware, first impressions are crucial. In this course, I'll walk you through the process of creating a video resume from preparation to scripting, setting up your recording environment, performance, editing, and more. We'll talk about when a video resume is and isn't the right choice for an application. And, to make this more of a real-world experience, I'll be taking a job seeker through the process with us, and we'll work together to create a finished video resume.
