Smart bins
- [Narrator] Smart Bins, found in the lower left, are basically Bins that are built on any sort of metadata criteria. Let me show you a great example of this. I'm going to go ahead here to my Media page. You'll notice I've got a bunch of audio here that's music, except for the one item there that's named Tone. I'm going to right-click on the word "Smart Bins", and I'm going to say "Add a Smart Bin". And I'd like to say, let's call this "Music no tone". Under the media pool properties, I'm going to actually search. And this is almost a little complex. I'm looking for the ID here of Clip Type... is "Video Only", "Video Plus Audio", is say a Timeline We have no Timelines yet in this project. I want all my audio clips there, and I'd like to add a new criteria, the criteria where the name does not contain the word "tone". And I've just built a Smart Bin based on that.
